Hello Sahabat Briofita!!I am from archipelago country, Indonesia. I have been interested in
bryophytes when visiting the moss garden at
Cibodas Botanical Garden, West Java in 2011 as part of the field trip of the
plant systematics course. At that time, I saw that the moss garden was
very beautiful, unique, and I saw different species with various size and
growth forms. I did not have any intention to do research in bryophytes, just admiring
the beauty of them. I
was a teaching assistant for a Plant Systematics course at Sebelas Maret
University during 2009 - 2012. In 2014, I started a new position as a researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (formerly Indonesian Institute of Sciences/Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia – LIPI) and
was assigned to Cibodas Botanical Garden. It was from this time that I started
to deeply learn about bryophytes, did research and found that they were
interesting!
